We will meet at the Lock 2 Café at Long Level in Wrightsville at 6:30pm. This is a quaint café along the Susquehanna river that serves light meals such as soup, sandwiches, subs and ice cream. The view is amazing. We can sit at the café and watch the sun set or we can take a stroll along the river or we can take an adventurous hike on the Native Trail. Head South once you exit Route 30 until you get to a stop light. Turn left onto 462, heading East through Wrightsville. In Wrightsville follow the main street(462) to 624 South. 462 branches right in a 'Y' right before you cross the Susquehanna River. You want to go left, don't cross the Wrightsville-Columbia Bridge. After the bridge entrance, Route 624 makes an abrupt turn right. Proceed 5.2 miles along 624 South to a stop sign, the intersection with Long Level Road. We are located at 2092 Long Level Road off of Route 624 right along the Susquehanna River. Long Level Road branches off to the left of 624. Go 3 blocks, straight with the river on your left. That will bring you right to our porch! PLEASE NOTE: Your GPS unit will not bring you directly to Shank’s Mare. Your GPS will take you to a stop sign that says right turn keep moving. Stop at that sign and proceed STRAIGHT, keeping the river on your left. We are just a few blocks down that road.

June Playgroups

Every Monday we meet from 9:30-11am. Below are the activities we are planning for June. Hope to see you there!! In the event of rain, we will meet at church for open play. Let's try the parks again... June 4: Springettsbury Park Grab sun block and a bike/scooter so the kids can play and ride. Springettsbury Park is on Mt Zion Road across from BAM. June 11: Open Play @ Church Bring bikes/scooters/riding toys. If the weather is nice we will be outside. June 18: Windsor Wonderland Toys to play in the mulch are fun to have at this playground. Windsor Wonderland is at the intersection of Freysville Road and Windsor Road. June 25: The Porta's house. The kids can play outside and enjoy the creek/swing set/trampoline.
